I have a peugeot 206 2005 1.1, few days ago my passenger side headlight went, at first i thought it was the bulb, but a mate had a mess and apparently the wire/connection was just loose.
It has now gone again (n) -_- does anyone know what i have to look for/ do, to fix the connection again (useless with cars) :L
Also does anyone know a way i can fix this for a longer period of time?
Or how much do you think it would cost to get this fixed at a garage?

Thanks :)

If the connection was just loose and the light came back on then you can usually go to the store and they sell the head light socket and that will need to be wired in. Tiger is 100% right that the filament could of temporary reconnected. Sometimes there is correosion and loose connections at the socket so I would advise to check that before you replace the bulb.

When your mate had a look at it did he actually replace the bulb, or just give the connection a wiggle and it started working again? If he only "wiggled" it is possible that the bulb is blown, but the disturbance of checking connections was enough to temporarily "remake" the break in the tiny coil of the bulb's element. I have seen this happen many times. For the price they are it may be worth trying a new bulb before you go to a garage. If you do decide to change it, avoid touching the glass of the new bulb, as a halogen bulbs lifespan can be reduced by the moisture on your fingertips. If you have to touch the glass use dry tissue paper. Hope this helps. :)
