My indicators and hazard's have stopped working whilst i was driving today, I get one tick from the relay unit when i click the indicator stalk up or down, but then the relay does not tick again. Could this be faulty?
Many thanks

The most obvious answer is the easiest, and most likely. Have you checked the fuse block? If this is not caused by a blown fuse, check the relay. It is a latching relay so it stays engaged until the self-can celling feature turns it off. Best of luck.

It could be one of these electrical niggles, my indicators used to flash randomly. and the relay used to tick itself.
These relays can wear out, so it probably just needs replaced (£3-4) and any decent sized relay will do the job. they are all pretty standard
The other culprit is a worn stalk switch. but you said the hazard switch didn't work either so I'm ruling that out.
Or you have a wiring fault, in which case nobody can help because they can't see the condition of the car. :)

When you say it sticks on do you mean it will flash and then stay on for a bit and be slow to turn on and off? If so this could be the 'flashing unit' Im not sure what it is called. There is a unit that controls when the indicators turn on and off, this can sometimes stick. This generally isnt a problem on modern cars but there is always an exception to the rule. Im not sure where it is located on the 306. If you turn on the indicator and follow the clicking sound it makes when the indicator is on, this should lead you to the unit. Hope that helps

Check the fuse & terminals first,if OK check/replace the flasher unit.
